Perfect seed mix style addition to homemade rat mix. Varied without being unhealthy for them. All of my ratties love the shrimp biscuits in this. Hope JR Farm start selling those separately as treat food! Highly recommend.

My ratties love this stuff over any other food I've got them, they eat everything in it (any rat owner knows the ends of a food bowl) 100% recommend, I'm always buying in bulk :)

I've owned rats my whole life and I can't begin to explain the struggle of finding a decent rat food, which both has a range of ingredients to provide their daily nutritional requirements, & also will all be eaten. I use this as a base mix to which pasta, cereal, rat nuggets/kibble, seeds, nuts and herbs are added. All of my ten rats adore this food, leaving none behind unlike many branded rat foods. Not only a money saver, but my rats are the healthiest they've been!

I've kept rats for just over 15 years now and this is the best commercial mix I've found to date. The range and quality of ingredients(which are all named and not overly processed like others) is great, and most importantly my 6 ratties adore it, all rushing to their bowls when they hear me open the food bin. They are in great condition and enjoy digging around in the litter for the food when I scatter it about for them. This mix is cost effective as the price on Zooplus is great(costing about £1.60 per month per rat to feed when I buy the 2 x 2.5kg bags) and very little waste is left. We also get the JR Farm Food to mix in with the JR Farm Feast for even more variety, including fruit/veg/herbs and meal worms, which the rats love along with the dried shrimps from the JR Farm Feast. They certainly haven't gotten bored of the food after feeding for over 6 months, it's a real winning combination that I would recommend to all rat owners.

I have often in excess of 80 rats here and finding a food they will eat with little waste is always challenging. I add this product to a rabbit food. It is eaten with gusto and I never have any waste. It's a shame it is not available in bigger bags for us breeders. The packaging can be very brittle and often is splits very easily so be careful with storage and picking up by the top.
