• Muscle meat: provides high-quality proteins and omega 6 fatty acids. Muscle meat also includes heart meat as well as chicken, turkey and rabbit stomachs (stomach and heart are pure muscle and therefore do not count as offal). Within the meat serving, the proportion of muscle meat should always be the largest, Terra Canis wet dog food consist mainly of muscle meat
• Liver: a detoxification organ, it should only be fed to dogs rarely and in small quantities. Terra Canis therefore only uses liver in small quantities in a few menus. However, it should not be dispensed with completely, as liver contains numerous vitamins and essential minerals
• Eggshells: Terra Canis replaces vital calcium from the bones of the prey animal with eggshells. Through before-and-after analyses, the calcium-phosphorus ratio of 1.3:1.0, which is important for your dog, could be established for each individual menu in a completely natural way
• Fibre in the form of vegetables, fruit & herbs: important for digestion as it stimulates intestinal motor function and cleanses the intestines. Make sure there is a little variety, as all vegetables and fruit contain different vitamins, minerals, trace elements and phytochemicals. Terra Canis menus contain more than 20 different types of vegetables, fruit and herbs
• Grain: grain is rarely ingested by wolves and only in small quantities via the gastrointestinal contents of their prey. Accordingly, neither jaw nor the digestion physiology of the dog is designed to digest large quantities of grain. As a non-essential food component, it should only be fed to dogs in small quantities. The Terra Canis menus contain only a small percentage of grain (max. 10%). The "grain" used (e.g. millet, buckwheat, spelt, brown rice, amaranth) is mostly gluten free and provides the dog with many important minerals, amino acids and vitamins
• Seaweed: provides your dog with all the important minerals & vitamins (e.g. calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, sodium, selenium, iron, copper, manganese, zinc, iodine, etc.), all essential amino acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids and many important vitamins and minerals
• Mineral clay: (= healing earth) is rich in all important minerals and trace elements (e.g. calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, sodium, selenium, iron, copper, manganese, zinc) and also provides all essential amino acids
• Rapeseed oil : with an optimal ratio of linoleic acid to linolenic acid, rapeseed oil is perfect for a balanced, healthy diet and provides natural vitamin A and important omega 3 fatty acids
• Andes salt: salt is an important component of a dog's diet, as the salty blood absorbed from prey provides the dog with numerous minerals, including chloride, which is important for the electrolyte balance. Terra Canis uses natural & untreated Andes salt, the "white gold" of the Incas
