Product description

Natural pet bedding made from softwood shavings. Absorbent and odour-binding, made from spruce and fir wood.

Chipsi Classic is a high quality, effective natural pet bedding. The wood shavings in Chipsi Classic go through a process of resin and dust removal, making them perfect for building a soft, hygienic nest. The shavings naturally absorb moisture and odour, creating a pleasant, species-appropriate environment.

Chipsi products are made from specially selected spruce and pine trees, sourced according to strict environmental and quality controls (DIN ISO 9001).

Very small flake, dusty
This is fairly good bedding but it is moderately dusty, the flake is very small like confetti, and it gets absolutely everywhere.

Very dusty and unsuitable for small pets
On the package it says that this is dust free and highly absorbent - both of these were unfortunately not the case here. Please don’t buy this for your pets as it’s hard on their paws and is very dusty which means it can lead to respiratory infections etc.

Not satisfied...
This ped bedding has so much dust and is not suitable for pets. I strongly don't recommend it.

Best value and great quality
These shavings are excellent. Far superior to the sort of thing you buy in supermarkets or pets at home. Dust free and no overpowering pine odour. to make our guinea pigs sneeze. Please note, the 'bale' is huge. It's more like the size of shaving bales used for horses stables. We just keep it in the shed and fill a bucket as necessary. I bought it months ago and I've just used about half of it.

recommended!
Good bedding. There is a definite difference in quality between this and own-label brands. I never had larger pieces of wood in this, unlike with other litter.

soft and comfortable
This feels so much better than pellets and doesn't have anywhere near so much dust. It even smells less and it's more absorbent. The amount you need to use and the price are OK. I am very satisfied with the product and haven't managed to find anything better as yet.

Very satisfied
I am very satisfied with this bedding. It keeps the odours in really well and is also easy to change, without sticking to the cage floor when it gets wet.
