Feeding guide
Feeding recommendation:
PAWS & PATCH Vegetable Garden Carrot Flakes is a straight food supplement for dogs.
Soak the carrot flakes in hot water for approx. 10 minutes. Use a water to flake ratio of 2:1. After swelling, leave the carrot flakes to cool and add to the rest of the food. If necessary, the flakes can be pureed for better digestibility. 1 tablespoon corresponds to about 5g of carrot flakes.
5g of dried flakes correspond to about 30g of swollen flakes.
The total ration per day depends on the dog's weight and activity level: A total of 20 - 40 g food (meat and vegetables) per kg body weight per day.
Recommended serving ratio:
Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (soaked)
Adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (soaked)
Seniors: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (soaked)
The general feeding recommendations serve as guidelines. These may vary slightly depending on the age, breed, feeding or activity of the animal.
Only feed freshly prepared cubes. Provide additional fresh drinking water.
