Feeding guide
Feeding recommendation:
PAWS & PATCH Vegetable Garden Courgette Flakes are a straight food supplement for dogs.
Soak the courgette flakes in hot water for approx. 10 minutes. Use a ratio of water to flakes 2:1. Once the courgette flakes have softened, leave to cool and add to the rest of the food. If necessary, the flakes can be pureed for better digestibility. 1 tbsp corresponds to about 5g courgette flakes. 5g of dried flakes correspond to about 20g of swollen flakes.
The total ration per day depends on the dog's weight and activity level: 20 - 40 g feed per kg body weight per day
Recommended serving ratios:
Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (soaked)
Adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (soaked)
Seniors: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (soaked)
The general feeding recommendations serve as guidelines. These may vary slightly depending on the age, breed, feeding or activity of the animal.
Only use freshly prepared flakes. Provide additional fresh drinking water.
