Important for outdoor use: The kennel should not be too large, as your dog will rely on its body heat to keep itself warm and create a pleasant temperature. If the kennel is too big, this cannot happen and your dog risks quickly becoming too cold.

Please note: This item has a non-toxic water-based varnish. This offers initial protection against weather conditions, but the kennel should be regularly re-treated if it is to be used outside. Without care, the wood can dry out and become brittle, or become unsightly to look at. We recommend regularly deep-cleaning the kennel. The kennel should be treated regularly with a non-toxic wood care or varnish product and placed in the most protected outdoor area possible to help reduce damage from the weather.
