These professional Oster clippers allow you to shear your dog quickly and simply. This innovative product is now improved with 3 speeds and is also exceptionally quiet, comfortable to hold and lightweight.The slim design has an ergonomic shape that is comfortable to hold. Coupled with the slip proof outer covering, this gives it a super grip.
Key features of the Oster A6 Slim clippers:
On Level 1 the Oster A6 Slim clippers achieve 3100 cycles per minute, which means 3100 double strokes to cut fine fur.
On Level 2 the clippers work at 3600 cycles per minute to cut medium-thick fur and Level 3 is designed for the thickest hair, and runs at 4100 cycles per minute.
This model is quiet and low-vibration, even at the highest setting, to protect your joints and prevent them from tiring too quickly. The low noise makes these clippers suitable even for more timid animals.
The Oster A6 Slim clippers are available without a clipper blades, so that you can use them with any Oster A5 clipper blades. The clipper bladess are interchangeable, and easy to attach. This makes them easy for anyone to use, even non-professionals.
The Oster A6 Slim is just as good for general shearing as it is for trimming and fine details.

Important: To maintain the life of the product, you should oil the clipper blades every 3-4 minutes during continuous use, as described in the product user guide. If there is not enough oil between the two metal surfaces, they will rub together, and the clipper blades will wear out more quickly.

Oster a6 slim
My ragdoll Boris, has 5inch very fine fur and had knotted big style scissors were not an option so that did my research and chose these.
They struggles with the knotty but got through them without burning or snagging the skin. As for the parts that were knotted free it went through like a hot knife through butter. High power was needed and lots of oiling of the blades. Noise levels were low. When I let the cat go he walked a few steps sat down and watched me clean up sat with the clippers.

Oster A6 Slim
My Ragdoll Boris has very fine hair and is full of knots, so cutting with scissors was not an option. That's why I opted for this product. It is still a little hard with the tangles but the clippers come to grips with it without burning or hurting the skin. As for the parts without knots, the clippers go through there like butter.
