Note: You will need to introduce your pet to the carrier slowly and carefully. Start by leaving the door open and allowing your pet to slowly enter of its own accord. Then start closing the door and leaving it closed for longer and longer periods of time. Then try taking your pet for a short spin in the car in the carrier. Delivered broken
The item was delivered with broken clamps. Seems like they easy broke during the transportation.

Alright
I have two bengal cats who are big enough to barely fit into normal travel carriers so we got this one, size is ok but im not sure how well it will hold because all parts are plastic when putting together it already looked weak to me but for the price will give it a go

don't buy
my cat managed to escape from the carrier at the vet car park, managed to push and open it

Cat carrier
The clasps holding the top door broke the second time we used it, my cat weighs less than 5kg so is not too big. Evidently you cannot get replacement clasps either for some reason

Very disappointed
When I was putting this carrier together one of the clasps broke but it seemed sturdy enough. After less than 2 months use I need to purchase a new carrier as the opening on top has become loose and is pulling away. It is therefore not safe to carry this by the handle, I need to hold under the bottom as well as the handle when bringing my kittens to the vet

Great but...
Great carrier does the job however I found some of the parts break easily, one of the clasps broke when I was putting the carrier together.

A good carrier for the price
This is a good, sturdy and roomy carrier.
We have two of these and the tops are difficult to close up properly once undone. It takes a bit of jiggling about to make them secure again. We just use the front doors now.
Very roomy especially for big cats...our Ragdolls have plenty of space.

Excellent cat carrier for big cats.
I've used these carriers for several years now for my Norwegian Forest Cats who regularly go to shows- our carriers get more use than the average pet owner's! The carriers are robust (unlike what other reviewers say) and it is perfectly possible to get even my 7.5 kilo male in and out of the top opener with no problem. It's handy to have the slots on the top to use the seat belt to strap the carriers in, and I occasionally use the wheels (bought separately). I often recommend them to people to buy if they have Norwegians, or big cats.

enough space for two small dogs
My two miniature dachshund happily use this box as sleeping place and hopefully will enjoy the rides in the car more now.
The hooks for the strap wouldn't fit and if you travel a lot I would recommend higher quality than this box; much plastic. But for a ride to the vet it's ok.

i lvoe this carrier its really big and roomy with a openning at the top.
I use it to take 1 or 2 big cats to the vets or one mum cat with her 6 kittens! We could have fitted more in!
I never bothered with any strap you dont need it, easy to put together to, even if the instructions that come with it are for another crate!

The best cat basket you can buy!
I bought this cat box for my bengal cat a few months ago as he is terrible getting into a front opening cage & I thought it would be easier for me (& him) to pop him in through the top. It is a great success for him as he is far less stressed through this method.
But the real beauty of the cage was revealed when another of my cats has become very ill recently, the ease of the top opening allowed me to gently place him down into the box instead of pushing him in through the front, in fact he was so ill the vet was able to unclip the top from the bottom and examine him without having to lift him out.
I would recommend this transporter to all cat owners, you never know when you might need it.

Hooks for carrying strap don't attach
I could not get the hooks that are intended to allow a carrying strap to be attached to go on (one end of each hook will go in but then the other will not).
There is no answer on the support line.

Life Saver
The reason this cage is a life saver is because it literally makes the transition stage from my house to the vet so much easier. My sweetie likes to travel, but every time we get in the car, she always insists to climb into my lap. This comfortable easy to access dog cage prevents me from getting in a wreck, and gives her the comfort that she needs. I would recommend this durable and practical pet cage to anyone.

Cat Transport
I thought this was great to get my cat in and out of. I needed an open top as I have a problem with one hand, so this box was ideal. She also loved going out the side door then jumping in and out using the top. Great idea.
