Is it me ?
We have had this cover for a number of years now and we have always had it set in the car so the shiny side/ more easily washable side is next to the dogs. The Acrylic woven side against the seat. Obvious yes ! NOT SO. Looking at the picture of the Golden Retreiver in one, we have been putting it in the wrong way round. BUT I DON'T THINK SO !

Great until the zip broke
It fits into my Audi a6 avant like it was made for it, with my boxer puppy on a harness and everything was good. My pup had a little accident and it stopped it from leaking through to the seats (again bonus), so I washed it and now one of the side panels just won't zip on, it just falls off, which is odd because the other side is still ok. But overall good quality fabric used and well constructed.

Basic good value but.
Basic good value however only has only ONE reinforced opening for seat belt locks which is in the centre between where they actually are (on my Skoda anyway ) I think this could be construed as misleading. I have just spent a day cutting and sewing new ones.

Great sofa protector
My lab loves to lie on the sofa. This cover is great for protecting the material, and, being waterproof, when she's damp it isn't a problem. I am renewing the cover as this one is beginning to lose its backing after many months of service

Good Idea. Zips break easily.
I have bought 3 of these and 2 of the more expensive covers. All 3 of the cheaper model have broken zips. Very disappointing as the idea is to protect doors as well as the seats.

Super cover! Very high-quality and robust.
I can absolutely recommend this cover. It's perfectly manufactured and very well thought out. The sides can be opened separately as entry points. There are also zippers for closing the cover. The top material is made of sturdy fabric. Our dog also sits in it quite comfortably. The most important thing: our dog loves the cover and regularly sleeps in the backseat.

Problem solved!
This is THE solution for a problem we've had for a while. Our retriever has always slipped into the gaps between the seats (despite using a seatbelt!) so we were reluctant to take her on car trips. This filler has solved that problem and now car trips are back to being relaxed!

After 4 months and it still looks new
Because of lots of some of the comments I took mine to get some newer, stronger fastening loops attached. Since then I've used it almost daily. It does what it says, is sturdy and even after 4 months looks great!

Dog Bridge cover
The box arrived with German Instructions and pictures. We tried to fit it but had a bit of trouble, almost gave up then I found the English PDF and it was much simpler, we now have it fitted and our dog is very happy.

Superb product
I have had a bridge seat cover for 3 years, my dogs travel on the back seat because my mobility scooter is usually in the back part of the estate. I have 2 large dogs and the cover fits my Astra perfectly, my golden was very frightened in the car but after fitting the bridge cover she is a lot happier. the quality is very good and its worth every penny. Unfortunatley one of the dogs has chewed the zip and it now won't work, although still perfectly okay. I'm buying another one just in case

Safety an comfort for your pet
My dog is very nervous getting into the back of the car. One slip and she would fall off the seat and, being a greyhound with spindly legs, risked serious damage. This cover makes the back seat a flat surface right up to the front seats, a much safer system that gives the dog more confidence getting in and out. If you need to use the back seal it is a simple task to unzip part of the cover or to remove it completely. I give it 11/10 as it changed my dog's life (and ours).

Worth it for the price
I moved the seats back in my Peugeot 106 to give the dogs more room - and this blanket is ingenious. They both lay on their own blankets and didn't disturb me when I was driving. It was easy to clean, but with 2 big dogs, I think it went over its limit. But the price makes up for that.

I am getting another - it is so good
My new dog is a young chewer and demolished my first hammock but now he settling and past the chewing stage, I am getting another because I was so very satisfied with my first. It is strong enough for a very big, heavy dog.

Brilliant
Even though my Border Collie x Golden Retriever wears a safety harness she ended up in the rear footwell after we had to brake hard. Understandably, this made her a bit nervous about travelling in the car. While looking for a hammock type seat cover, I found the 'Bridge' on Zooplus, and Sally loves it. It's well made and fits our car nicely. As well as keeping Sally safe it also keeps the seats and rear footwells clean too. It seemed expensive when I bought it, but I feel that it's worth every penny and I'd throughly recommend it.

Dog lovers it - but fit for convertible is not 100%
I searched for car seat cover options as I need to travel alone with the dog, and prefer to use my Convertible (and my wife wants to use here usual car too. Want a practical and well made solution, a safe and happy dog, and to keep the seats in good condition. First - and most importantly - the dog loves it compared to the crate we use in the other (estate) car. First time it was set up and she went in, we had to lift her out. She loves cruising with the top down – (I wouldn't have had a Labrador for a poser..). 1. QUALITY: Positive - generally its a high quality product, but negative: the seams on the edge are a bit loose in one place and might fray in time. 2. FITTING : It took a while to figure out the best way to get it fitted (The Car is Saab 9-3 Convertible). I expected to have to cut the boards to size - but this isn't required as I don't think they will add to the product at all in this case. I've removed them. As the seats are "bucket seat", the dog just lies happily. She won't fall down the gap to the front seats (small in a convertible) especially as gap which is now perfectly covered by the materials. No Board is required. I'll keep them for use in another vehicle- some time... Fitting to Front headrest is simple. Its possible that the connector might snap - same as on any plastic rucksack fitting - and replaceable. Fitting to the back a bit harder to figure out. - the excess did need to be rolled up - not complicated (need to check the buckle wont tear the seats - easy to avoid). The long straps - see instructions, need to go to the outside pillar of the headrest to hold the material reasonably taut across the width. Because there is now an excess of material (back seat at minimum is 0.85m) this can be folded up along the side of the car - giving some extra protection (to the car).. 3. PRACTICALITIES. With no Back doors, and tipping seats (remember its fitted to the front headrest... As I fitted it - I realised that there would be a problem getting the dog in and out. (especially would be with a board- see what happens when seat id tipped – on one side, not ton the other….) . Solution was to unzip the join - zip on the front as far as the seat, unclip one side from the front head rest, fold the excess down into the footwell, and the dog can get in/ out pretty easily. The footwell is now partially protected too. If I have 3 passengers - 2 people and the dog, then my preferred solution will be to do exactly that and the rear passenger will then sit on the car seat cover. (possible as there is no board) To unzip it all is a bit more effort and especially at the rear end where the mat is rolled up - but still quite simple and its something I’ll do rarely anyway. On balance -pleased with it - even though I'm not using it fully as per instructions and having to adapt. It works, and I can see how it would definitely work on a 4 door cars rear seat.

Perfect solution to back seat travel for dogs
This is the ultimate accessory for dog owners with saloon or hatchback vehicles. It keeps the seats and floor clean, but allows humans to use the seats as well. With the bridge effect your dog doesn't run out of firm footing and panic. It also makes getting in and out of the car much safer for your dog. It is a little expensive compared to the simple hammock seat covers, but it is so versatile it is worth it.

Bridge Dog Car Seat Cover
This has proved a great success. Our young Lakeland does not like travelling in a crate but enjoys travelling on this. We spent 6 months in the USA with our 2 Lakelands and took it with us in a suitcase so that we could use it in a hire car over there. Worked perfectly. We now have USA friends looking for this product!

You pay for what you get
This is more expensive than many other but for a good reason - its a much better product. Suitable for the heavier/bigger dog. Only problem, no where to fix the hook under the front seat. My seats have smooth bottoms.
