Rocco Diet Care Weight Control has a low energy content and the low carbohydrate content with fast glucose release that helps to regulate the glucose supply (diabetes mellitus). Being overweight can significantly impact on your dog's health, as it can lead to joint problems or diabetes, which affects the quality of life. This wet food is low in fat and contains plenty of fibre, which produces a longer-lasting feeling of satiety. Recommended feeding period: Feed initially for up to 6 months to reduce obesity until your dog has reached the desired body weight; feed up to 6 months to regulate the glucose supply (diabetes mellitus).
Please consult your vet before using this food or extending the feeding period. This is a complete dog food and should be fed according to the feeding guidelines, however feeding amounts should be adapted depending on your dog's level of activity, age or breed. The total daily feeding amount should be divided into 2 or more meals per day.
Serve the food at room temperature. Make sure your dog always has fresh drinking water available.
Contraindication: Not suitable for pregnant and lactating bitches, puppies.
Energy per 100g: ME (DIN EN 16967) 336 kJ/80kcal.

Why only as 400g tins?
This food is really amazing, our dog can eat 20% more and still lose weight slowly. To keep him fuller for longer we mix it with a Light dry food and you can see he is more satiated and doesn't beg for food.
Especially when combined with long walks, you can really see the pounds drop off - we are very happy, APART FROM the fact that this food is only available in 400g tins? A lot more rubbish that way....

Great food
Very good food for small dogs struggling with diabetes. The dose should be given appropriately. My 9 year old poodle loves it! I stir in boiled chicken husk.

Good product
I have been trying it for a few days, my dog likes it very much, he digests it without any problems, plus I must say that it has an excellent satiating power, excellent scent and a fairly soft consistency that, if desired, allows you to mix it with the kibble, absolutely one to try just like all Rocco products

My dog loves this food
I feed this wet food in conjunction with Hill's Metabolic Mobility and she has lost 4kg in 4 months, 1kg left to go.
The Hills canned food is too expensive for me to buy regularly and I'm so pleased that I found this Rocco weight control. My dog absolutely loves it and her poos are a perfect consistency.
