Product description

A supplementary wet food made with organic meat, pure meat designed for combining with mixers and flakes, gently steam-cooked to retain all the nutrients and great taste, in a highly-digestible dish.

Herrmann's Organic Meat is a balanced and species-appropriate wet food for all dogs, made with the best certified-organic ingredients from controlled organic sources, or directly from nature. The top-quality ingredients are sourced in Upper Bavaria, where the Hermann's production site is situated and they believe that quality and ethical values are very important. This means that all animals are slaughtered at the respective farms to avoid transporting the animals. All animal feed is closely monitored and antibiotics or other growth-promoting substances are strictly forbidden. It is also very important that all animals are raised free-range or in conditions where they have regular access to open spaces. This Herrmann's Organic Meat is ideal for dog- and cat owners looking to avoid carbohydrates or fibres, or those looking to combine simply with fresh vegetables.
The Herrmann's Organic Meat supplementary food is ideal for mixing with flakes and mixers, for both cats and dogs. It is ideal for providing your pet with natural, species-appropriate nutrition.

Herrmann's Organic Meat at a glance:
  • High-quality supplementary food for dogs and cats
  • The organic meat comes from controlled organic sources where animals are humanely raised and slaughtered - love for animals is not limited to dogs and cats
  • Carbohydrates and fibre can be separately added to Herrmann's Organic Meat
  • Herrmann's Organic Meat is especially easy to digest and is very light on the stomach
  • Organic Meat by Herrmann's is also excellent for allergic and nutritionally sensitive dogs and cats
  • Only the animals named in the ingredients list are used in Herrmann's Organic Meat, making it convenient for pets on exclusion diets
  • Herrmann's Organic Meat is especially gently steamed, so that the full vitamin and mineral content remains - the entire production process is approved by German certifier Biokreis
  • Free from preservatives and other additives.
  • Only premium, unadulterated ingredients: no fillers, attractants or artificial flavouring and therefore richer in nutrients than conventional food.
Please note, that Herrmann's Organic Meat is a supplementary food and therefore should be fed with grains and vegetables.

The Herrmann's Organic Food Team believes that all animals should be humanely raised - even livestock. Therefore, Herrmann's only uses meat from animals that have been reared in this way. This philosophy is reflected in the quality of the product: no antibiotics or stress-released hormones. Herrmann's Organic is a culinary delight for every dog or cat, especially sensitive or allergic pets. Healthy food for a happy pet - that is the objective!

Cats don't like it
I was looking for food which is sustainable, approved by PETA etc so I tried few new brands and this one is the worst. Food is very 'fluffy', soft, smell is not bad but cats don't like it, even stray cats are eating only spoon and waiting for next meal - dry food. Before even the worst, cheap wet food disappeared in a minute.

Best dog food available in the UK
I decided to move both my dogs onto organic food -they had always been fed a good diet but I wanted to go organic. Having two big lurchers, finding a reasonably priced food was important. I've been feeding the chicken and turkey varieties for just 4 months, and the results have been fantastic. Both have reduced the amount of hair they shed and have super shiny coats. Their teeth and breath have improved and they have much more energy. The 800g tin is the perfect size too.

So good, I'd eat it myself!
I've long used Zooplus to source premium German wet and dry dog food at much lower cost than here in the UK. This range is very high quality and shows a respect for the animals lower in the food chain as well as regard for canine nutrition. I also like the fact it's available as single species (for dogs with allergies) and with or without vegetables in case you want to add your own. My two boys love it, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as tremendously good value.

Smells and tastes good
As you open the can it fills the room with a very strong smell of meat. My greyhound goes mad as soon as I touch the can, and i am happy with that as the food contains good proteins and nutrients.

A wild dog's diet
A wild dog would hunt for ducks, turkeys, sheep and goats rather than cereals, vegetables and dandelion, so this is the perfect diet for my dog with wild herbs, bones and meat.

Loved by cats and dogs
My cats would rather starve than eat whiskas or Felix but they adore this. Very easy to find pet vitamin supplements to complement this food. Also feeding my dog fresh vegetables to maximise her vitamin intake anyway. For me this is very expensive but the top end supermarket stuff upsets the stomachs of my cats and dog. When eating this the cats dont starve or get the runs and the uber sensitive dog doesn't bloat.

Great experience
My cocker, Sasha, loves this high quality food, even more than the usual croquettes. I am delighted to have found a brand with such great quality.

Very high quality and organic - perfect !
Couldn't be happier with this product. One of my dogs is on a high protein, grain-free diet as she has cancer. I bought this as a storecupboard standby for days when I hadn't time to home-cook organic meat for her. The quality is so good and the price so reasonable compared to buying fresh that I've switched to using it most of the time. Added bonus is that I can use it for my dogs AND my cats. The cats go wild at the smell!
