Many cats struggle with urinary tract disorders and a tendency to form urinary stones. To support normal urinary tract function and reduce the risk of recurrent crystal formation, feeding a special cat food is recommended. Trovet Urinary Struvite ASD cat food has been specially developed for adult cats that suffer from struvite stones or have a tendency to form struvite crystals.The dry food contributes to a low pH value of the urine to create an environment that is unfavourable for urinary stone formation. At the same time, the mineral content, especially the magnesium content, is reduced to deprive the struvite stones of their building blocks, so to speak. Trovet Urinary Struvite cat food ASD thus helps to reduce the risk of new struvite stones forming and to dissolve existing crystals.
