The recipe leaves out everything that does not belong in a premium food, which leaves you with the perfect balance of herring and salmon, easy to digest sweet potato and potato, as well as essential Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids (5.6%).Thrive PremiumPlus Dry Cat Food - Salmon & Herring is completely grain free and contains all of the essential vitamins and minerals that your cat needs, as well as vital taurine, which your cat’s system cannot produce in sufficient quantities by itself.
The cat’s digestive tract is designed to work with a diet that is almost entirely made up of animal protein. This means that they need a diet that provides them with all of the appropriate nutrients. Standard cat foods are mainly high in carbohydrate, with small amounts of proteins. The modern production methods and technologies used by Thrive pet foods mean that the protein content of Thrive PremiumPlus – Salmon & Herring is noticeably higher than other grain free cat foods. The food only contains protein from fish.
To help to bind the proteins, the food includes a small amount of low-carbohydrate sweet potato or potato. All of the ingredients are low in fat, hypoallergenic and very easy to digest – perfect for cats that may have problems digesting grains such as wheat.

Great Product
We were having a lot of trouble with trying to get the right food to suit our Maine Coon.. he has a very delicate stomach, so i wont go into to much detail, i'm sure if your reading this you get the picture! Anyway long story short after over a year of trial and error and swapping over from one brand to another and endless trips to the vet we discovered Thrive Cat Food and our problems were solved!!

Nice idea but...
Love the idea of the grain free cat food, smells very natural, however my 2 cats hated it!

Good but not great as fish content is only 70%
This dry food is good but not great as the fish content is only 70% compared to the chicken variant where the chicken content is 90%. However that being said my Cat enjoyed this as much as the chicken. Will buy again if the chicken is sold out.

Excellent!
I am very satisfied with this Thrive dry foo - it smells good and my cats love it. It is also more economical, since my cats need to eat less of this than other popular brands. Thrive Salmon & Herring is a good option for us, as we can combine it with the wet food too. The high fish content is excellent, so we are going to stay with this delicious food :)
