The dietary dry food has been specially developed for cats with chronic renal insufficiency and aims to support kidney function. In addition, the ingredients / composition helps to reduce the formation of oxalate stones.Kattovit Kidney/Renal (renal insufficiency) dry food has a reduced content of proteins, phosphorus and sodium to protect the kidneys. The diet contains urinary alkalising potassium citrate to help reduce the formation of oxalate crystals. Thanks to its balanced, wholesome recipe, the diet food is well suited to your velvet paw's daily diet.

Cat likes it, but it doesn't seem to be good for her health condition
My cat (who has renal insufficiency) really enjoys this food, but... Sadly, it is causing her to drink ridiculous amounts of water, and her bowel movements are regular but completely liquid. I thought these symptoms were just caused by the food change in general and would go away soon, but they did not get better after 2 weeks, even with medicine. It seems like this food does not fit her condition at all.
