Applaws Dry Cat Food is a unique complete diet for adult cats. It simulates the natural diet of a cat in the wild in a dry kibble form. Cats are carnivores and their digestive system is adapted to thrive on a diet high in natural animal proteins. The natural cat diet only contains 1 to 5% plant content from the intestines of prey. The cereals found in many other dry pet foods cannot be utilised and are difficult for cats to digest. Surplus carbohydrates are not saved but are converted into glycogen or fat. The result can be obesity, liver or pancreas disease and even diabetes.

Applaws dry cat food uses meat as its only source of protein and can be effectively converted into energy by your cat. It is also suitable for cats with allergies and food intolerances.

Applaws Dry contains no artificial preservatives. Added antioxidants for longer preservation of the food are derived from natural selenium and natural tocopherol which can have an additional positive effect on your cat's health and vitality.

Natural omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids strengthen the fur and skin structure and give your cat's coat a glossy shine. Applaws Dry also contains cranberry extract to support the urinary and digestive tracts.

Excellent value
I chose this because the meat content is higher than any other I've seen for the price, and the protein sits at a more than reasonable 38% for growing kitties. Kibbles are small and uniform. I ordered the 2 economy bags and they are ENORMOUS. I'm not sure I'll ever need to order more kitten food again. The downside is that I was expecting them to be resealable like the tiny bags are but they're not so the bag must be meticulously taped up or use a bag resealer gadget.

It's just the best
We feed our cats both try and wet food and this is the dry. Our cats absolutely can't get enough of this cat foot.

Such a nutritious food, she loves it too!
I am shocked by the rating for this food and so had to review myself. After thorough research into cat nutrition I decided this was the best dry food for my girl. The meat content is exceptional. My cat, who has a habit of going off food after periods of time, has been on this for years and still runs to her bowl when she hears it. She eats this twice a day and a wet food twice. This food is so nutritious and if you care about what goes into your fur baby I highly recommend giving it a try.

High in protein and good for sensitive tummies
Our Scottish Straight kitten has a very sensitive tummy and not a great eater however after spending a fortune trying different dry foods, he seems happy with this one and his tummy is absolutely fine on the grain free. Zooplus offer great customer service and are very competitive on price - I won't shop anywhere else for my cats.

Well priced grain free dry food
I bought a small bag of this for my foster cat but he wouldn't eat it so I tried it on my own cats. Mini Man loves it and often goes to eat this before his wet food. The negative reviews seem to be for cats who are more sensitive and he isn't so I can't say they aren't wrong but Mini and his bestie Otis seem happy enough with it. I will probably buy again to give them a break from their usual dry Purina One food.

Best food for my rescues!
This is one of the best brands of food out there that doesn’t contain all the nasty ingredients. All three of my rescue cats Who came from different walks of life all love it! My vet says it’s one of the best out on the market.

applaws
My older cat loves these and the large packs are a bargain, in a well known pet store these are £19.99. Really good quality ingredients.

Too good?
We adopted a kitten that started being sick as soon as he came home, at 10 weeks old. So we thought to try natural grain-free food to see if it was an intolerance to an ingredient that was causing the sickness. We swapped IAMS kitten for this and oh my days, the kittens LOVE it. And I say is it 'too good' because I used to leave a bowl of dry food out all day so if they were peckish they could dip in but this is almost all gone straight away!

Kitten loves it!
I got this for my 5 month old Russian Blue as I was feeding her Royal Canin, only found out recently that RC is full of rubbish and more expensive than Applaws! I’ve only tried her on it for the day and I’ve tried to slowly wean her onto it by mixing it in with her old food, the only problem is that she loves it so much she leaves the RC kibbles in the bowl. So I guess we’re going to experience a messy litter tray! I’m glad she likes it though as it’s so much better for her than RC.
