Please note: Egg food is not suitable for feeding during certain illnesses and can have a harmful effect in these cases. Avoid feeding egg food during illnesses that require a low-protein diet, such as kidney disease or gout. Please also note that regular feeding of egg food increases breeding instincts. Do not feed to females suffering from egg binding or females keen on breeding if no breeding is intended.

1. Spread two tablespoons of dry egg seed over the daily feed.
2. Mix two tablespoons of egg seed with enough water or juice and serve the crumbly mixture in a separate bowl.
Dispose of unused food daily. Store in a cool and dry place.
During moulting and breeding, egg food may be fed daily. Add grated apple, carrots or fruit juice if desired.
Due to its higher vitamin D3 content compared to complete feeds, egg food must not make up more than 25% of the daily feeding ration.
