Took me a long time to figure out how to switch it on! You have to basically twist the key ring part it’s attached to and it tightens the internal batteries to make contact with the circuit which activates the light. Would be simpler to just have a button or switch. Also it flashes red and blue so it’s not a solid colour. Still really handy

Does Not work
The item does not work. Ar the beginning worked a bit and later could not get it to work at all. Used only one time on the dog.

Really happy
Has worked fine for several months. For the price it is a very good product.
I only think the clip could be a bit bigger.

Very tough and cheap
This is the third time I've ordered this heart, since I have a lot of leashes. I'm really satisfied with them and they're easy to use - assuming you know how to.
You need to screw the section under the connection pin tightly to turn on the pendant.
Also batteries for it are cheap!
I've also trodden on them a few times and haven't broken them.

Bit of a gimmick
I ordered two of these they took a week or so to arrive. The light turns on/off by twisting the top which is where the batteries are housed. the top has a clip used to attach to your dog's collar. I found once the lead is also clipped to the collar the light is at the back of the dog's neck and therefore not as visible to traffic as I had hoped. Sadly only one of mine worked properly the other seemed faulty and only worked sporadically but not really worth the hassle to return. They do come with spare batteries. I don't use them much now and have invested in high vis gear instead. Much safer!! Ok though if you just want to see where your dog is in the dark

A little modification...
The dog is used to the flashing, but you should get rid of the 'heart' because you're going to lose it anyway.
I covered the LED in some transparent heavy duty tape to protect it from the wet. It was quite easy. Also the clip should be replaced by something made of wire - it reduces the weight of the thing by a third.
The pendant is now the sham of a small name tag and still just as visible.
