Ordered two of these on 25/07 for my two cats, in the end only one of them used it. Both of the mats were leaking with not even one month of use. My cat never scratched it or bit it but both of them started leaking from small tears when he was sleeping on it. Very upsetting, such a waste of money

Purchased after a difficult car journey with an overheated cat. Froglet, suspicious of anything new apart from boxes, hasn't been near this yet, but I tried it to see how it works - has done an amazing job of keeping me cool at night through the heatwave. I will let her try it next time we go away in the car; on purchasing I was concerned it was a lot bigger than her carry box, but it folds in half, so that's fine.

Only got it a couple of days ago. Ragnar and Iona have both accepted them - cats are weird with new stuff. One in the outside cat house and one in the hallway. Nice and cool to the touch. I may get one for me for work!!!

It’s good and keeps cool but I bought a large mat for my small dog and it’s has split in 3 places so I now leaking fluid. Not happy but I’ve glued it up and it’s working fine for the moment

Just received the cooling mat. My staffie is so happy! It is hot those days, and it looks like she is enjoys to laying on it. I think I will buy one for myself too, we are sharing it on the sofa 😀Thank you zooplus

Bought this mat for my dog because we have a heatwave of about 30 degrees so my poor dog was very hot and could not find a place to settel. Now he is lyeing on it all the time and he is cool and comfortable.

My dog wont go into a paddling pool so I bought this as a substitute. Took a few weeks and some trickery to get her to lie on it as it doesnt feel like her bed or the floor. Once she realised it was cooler (meaning cold and not meaning the latest crazy) she has used it without any problems. She appears to prefer it to her usual 'cold' places.

Bought two large mats for my Beagles and they used them for the first time today (warmest day of the year so far up here, 22C). The youngest had been panting (she doesn’t do well in the heat) and as soon as she lay on this mat she stopped and fell asleep. Must be lovely and cool for them. Great quality and value for money!

I found this to be absolutely excellent for my old dog who was suffering greatly with the heat last Summer. The mat draws heat from the animal, as it does so the contents of the mat change from a solid crystal type of substance to a more liquid one, then return once the mat has been left to cool briefly. It is best left flat to cool, to stop the contents becoming uneven as in the last review..I bought a second mat so that I could change them to cool down. I plan to buy one for my other dog !

I bought one of these for our husky to help keep her cool on warm days when she needs to get into a cool space. At first I was dubious but as most of us would I'll try anything to make her more comfortable. I thought the design may lead to tearing or just provide an edge to nibble should she become bored. When it first arrived she looked at the mat gave it a quick sniff and inspection then walked away, after some coaxing she tried it and loved it heading for it any time she needs to cool down.

I live in Spain and it's 39c at the moment so these mats are a life saver for my 3 senior dogs. My Jack Russell is always on the sofa and now so is the cooling mat. I also have a Labrador and a Spanish hunting dog, the mats are of adequate size for them too.

We bought two for our elderly GSD. She loves it and alternates between her cool mat and her warm, soft dog bed.

I bought a cool mat for our 14year old golden retriever when he was unable to go up and down to our cellar to cool down. We keep it on the floor of the cellar all day so that its nice and cool at bed time. As soon it's put down at bedtime he is on it and doesn't move until morning. Highly recommend it for this very hot weather.t

This is a great item, it really does what is says but it a bit small for my labrador, be brilliant for smaller dogs though

My dog finds this a boon, so she says! I often find her lying on it - I just leave it down all the time. She pops on now and again and stretches full out and goes off in a deep sleep. I have recommended them to people often but you were out of stock for a while. My dog seemed to know what it was as soon as I put it down - no hesitation to go on it. Your price is really good.

I was thrilled to bits with the cool mat it took a few days for my dog to try it out bit eventually she started to lay on it. I could see she loved it . but tonight I have noticed a split and a hole in it probably from her back claws don't know how it was done she is not a dog that destroys things. So sadly mine has only lasted a week !!! Might try some sticky tape over the split to stop the gel coming out . great product but a bit fragile maybe :(

Mat arrived today (I only ordered it two days ago so am impressed). Told Aster, my very special Medical Detection Hypo Alert Dog, to 'down' on it and she has not moved from it since, enjoying being cool; she is a black lab so feels the heat. This is also really helpful to her alerting as if dogs are panting they are not using their noses, which is crucial to the dog's work.
